Found Format was born out of a strong collaboration between Steven Cleavland & Kyle Kadow, who catalyzed in their shared sense of gritty tone and abstract style. Passionate filmmakers, the directing duo cut their teeth in music videos that quickly paved roads to commercial work and narrative short films. The work culminating into themes of “the real” while keeping humanity at the core. In the end, the duo sensed the work was at its best when it was an exploration of two - a Found Format.
